DMCC FREEZONE

DMCC is a government entity established in 2002 to enhance commodity trade flows through Dubai, performing several roles which have firmly established Dubai as a regional and international commodities trading hub.

DMCC regulates, promotes and facilitates trade across a range of commodities including gold, diamonds, pearls, precious metals and tea. Major multinational companies, SMEs and start-ups in the commodities sector have made DMCC Free Zone their home.

DMCC has strived over the last 12 years to position Dubai as the regional commodities trade hub through the provision of its unique commodity focused ecosystem. The many accolades won over the years are testimony to the impact of DMCC and the contribution of its member companies. To name just one example, one of the most recent awards – MENA Fund Manager Magazine’ award for DMCC’s Executive Chairman, Ahmed bin Sulayem, for his Outstanding Contribution to Islamic Finance – demonstrates our commitment to help lead Dubai to become the Centre for the Islamic Economy.

The largest and fastest growing Free Zone in the UAE, DMCC facilitates both business and community living by offering commercial, residential and retail property for sale and lease. From multi-national organizations and major regional industry participants, to SMEs and start-ups, today DMCC Free Zone has over 11,000 companies benefiting from its infrastructure, facilities and services.

DMCC registers and licenses companies, provides visa and other related government services and also supports new companies in obtaining value added services required to establish their businesses in Dubai.
